Celestine AI Pilot Program

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 2026

Celestine AI is a free pilot tool built to help families and single parents find benefits, programs, and local resources they may qualify for.

We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when your answers are stored, and what organizations may see.

Celestine AI is designed to avoid unnecessary personal information. Families are not required to create accounts.

1

What Information We Collect

When you use Celestine AI, we collect only the information you choose to provide during the intake process. This may include:

We do not collect your Social Security number, government ID, date of birth, full street address, bank account information, or financial account numbers.
2

Consent and When Your Data Is Stored

Your intake answers are only stored after you check the consent box and submit your information.

If you do not check the consent box, your intake answers are not saved to our database.

The consent box explains that Celestine AI may store your answers to find your benefits and improve the tool. It also explains that your answers may be included in aggregated, non-identifying reports. Individual family data is not shared with organizations.

You may withdraw consent or request deletion of your data by contacting us at the email address listed below.

3

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers.

We do not require family users to create accounts.

4

What Organizations May See

Organizations may see aggregated, non-identifying insights about community needs.

For example, an organization may see information such as:

Organizations do not see names, email addresses, phone numbers, full individual intake records, contact IDs, or raw individual responses. Small groups may be suppressed or hidden to help protect privacy.
5

Who Has Access to Individual Data

Access to individually identifiable data is limited.

Celestine AI separates contact information, such as name and email, from intake answers where possible. Organization dashboards are designed to show aggregated, non-identifying data only.

Individually identifiable information is not displayed on organization dashboards.

6

Service Providers

Celestine AI uses trusted service providers to operate the platform. These providers process information only as needed to provide the service.

Netlify

Netlify hosts the Celestine AI website and serverless functions that help securely process requests.

Supabase

Supabase is our primary database. It stores intake information and, when provided with consent, contact information. Celestine AI uses access controls and database security settings to protect stored data.

Anthropic / Claude AI

Celestine AI uses Claude AI to help prioritize and explain verified resources based on your situation. Program names, links, phone numbers, and eligibility details come from Celestine’s verified resource database. The AI is not allowed to invent official program names, links, phone numbers, or contact information.

Information sent to Claude may include your first name, state, ZIP code, urgent needs, children status, employment status, housing status, income bracket, household size, and optional needs you select. Celestine AI does not send Social Security numbers, government IDs, bank account information, or full street addresses because we do not collect those fields.

Resend

Resend is used to send your results email if you choose to receive your matched programs by email.

7

Data Retention

Celestine AI pilot data may be retained for up to 12 months after the pilot period, unless a shorter retention period is required or you request deletion sooner.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us at hello@celestine-ai.com.

We will respond to deletion requests within 30 days.

8

Data Security

Celestine AI uses reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including:

No online system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, but we take privacy and security seriously and work to minimize unnecessary data collection.

9

AI-Generated Results

Celestine AI uses artificial intelligence to help prioritize and explain verified benefits, programs, and resources.

All official program names, URLs, phone numbers, and eligibility details come from Celestine’s verified resource database. The AI does not create official links or contact information.

Celestine AI is a guidance tool. It does not determine final eligibility, guarantee benefits, or replace official program administrators.

Always verify program details directly with the official program or organization before making decisions.
10

Cookies and Tracking

Celestine AI does not use advertising cookies or sell user data.

We may use basic analytics and standard hosting logs to understand website traffic, improve performance, and protect the site. This may include technical information such as browser type, device information, pages visited, and general usage activity.

This information is not used by Celestine AI to sell ads or build advertising profiles.
