When you use Celestine AI, we collect only the information you choose to provide during the intake process. This may include:

• Your first name
• Your email address, if you choose to receive your results by email
• Your state of residence
• Your ZIP code
• General information about your situation, such as housing status, employment status, income range, household size, and children’s ages
• Optional sensitive categories you may choose to select, such as disability or chronic health conditions, safety concerns, military or veteran status, or immigrant/refugee/language support needs
• Feedback you voluntarily submit about your experience using Celestine

Your intake answers are only stored after you check the consent box and submit your information.

If you do not check the consent box, your intake answers are not saved to our database.

The consent box explains that Celestine AI may store your answers to find your benefits and improve the tool. It also explains that your answers may be included in aggregated, non-identifying reports. Individual family data is not shared with organizations.

You may withdraw consent or request deletion of your data by contacting us at the email address listed below.

We use the information you provide to:

• Match you with benefits, programs, and local resources that may fit your situation
• Show you application links and next steps
• Send your results by email, only if you provide an email address
• Improve Celestine AI based on usage patterns and feedback
• Understand common community needs in an aggregated, non-identifying way

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers.

We do not require family users to create accounts.

Organizations may see aggregated, non-identifying insights about community needs.

For example, an organization may see information such as:

• How many families requested food support
• Which types of needs were most common
• Which resource categories were clicked most often
• General ZIP-code-level trends when privacy thresholds are met

Access to individually identifiable data is limited.

Celestine AI separates contact information, such as name and email, from intake answers where possible. Organization dashboards are designed to show aggregated, non-identifying data only.

Individually identifiable information is not displayed on organization dashboards.

Celestine AI uses trusted service providers to operate the platform. These providers process information only as needed to provide the service.

Celestine AI pilot data may be retained for up to 12 months after the pilot period, unless a shorter retention period is required or you request deletion sooner.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us at hello@celestine-ai.com.

We will respond to deletion requests within 30 days.

Celestine AI uses reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including:

• HTTPS encryption for information sent between your browser and our systems
• Database access controls
• Separation of contact information from intake answers where possible
• Server-side functions to keep private keys out of frontend code
• Row-level security and restricted database access
• No public exposure of Supabase service role keys or API secrets in frontend code

No online system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, but we take privacy and security seriously and work to minimize unnecessary data collection.

Celestine AI uses artificial intelligence to help prioritize and explain verified benefits, programs, and resources.

All official program names, URLs, phone numbers, and eligibility details come from Celestine’s verified resource database. The AI does not create official links or contact information.

Celestine AI is a guidance tool. It does not determine final eligibility, guarantee benefits, or replace official program administrators.

Celestine AI does not use advertising cookies or sell user data.

We may use basic analytics and standard hosting logs to understand website traffic, improve performance, and protect the site. This may include technical information such as browser type, device information, pages visited, and general usage activity.

This information is not used by Celestine AI to sell ads or build advertising profiles.

Celestine AI is designed for adults, parents, and guardians.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

You may contact us to:

• Request a copy of the information associated with your submission
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent
• Opt out of future communications
• Ask questions about how your information is used
